POETRY

 

Monologues and poems are a feature of this club.   

They add humour, pathos, sincerity and are often thought provoking.  

 

These practitioners are an essential aspect of the atmosphere at this excellent folk club.

 

Topics are varied and prior to reciting, short explanations

of what to expect are usually given by each performer.

 

Some of the regular performers are: -

 

ERIC CRAVEN

NB:  Eric held a very successful book signing morning at Lingham's Booksellers in Heswall, Wirral in July 2024 where he was kept busy signing copies of his latest new poetry book - 'Love, Hurt & Whimsy'
